Storage Sales Specialist

Join our driven team of sales specialists. Here’s your chance to stretch your previous data storage sales experience and to make our outbound sales initiative a success! We need someone with that unique combination of strong sales skills and a technical aptitude.
You will be responsible for selling Data Storage products and services. Your focus will be to cold call decision makers of target companies and ultimately sell them on total storage solutions. Your responsibilities will include lead identification and qualification, solution design, and closing of the sale. Face to face meetings with the customers are required. You will assist in demonstrations of the latest storage products available from major vendors on customer needs analysis. You will also develop and execute marketing campaigns.
This position is based in the anywhere in the southeastern US. Your target companies will be located throughout the southeastern US. Compensation will consist of a highly leveraged base/commission plan. At quota, compensation can reach $100k but you earnings potential are only limited by your ability to close sales.
Your success will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed your sales quota. We are looking for someone who consistently meets or exceeds his or her salesquotas. To successfully close sales, you must have or quickly develop a good understanding of the data storage products and services, and understand how they relate to clients’ business needs. Your aptitude or experience with cold calling, developing an understanding of customer needs, identifying and qualifying leads, identifying resource requirements and cost constraints, presenting/proposing solutions and closing sales via signed agreements will also be vital to your success.
You must have at least two years of proven outside sales experience selling Storage Solutions in a SAN or NAS (Networked Attached Storage) environment to various levels of management. If you have IBM or EMC Storage sales experience or knowledge of the greater Atlanta and/or southeastern US storage market, you will be a stronger candidate.
